Teenagers in Samut Songkhram gathered to fight their rivals in front of their house before pulling out guns and shooting into the alley, causing a disabled woman to be hit in the head and die.

CCTV footage from the night of August 21st revealed a group of teenagers from Samut Songkhram and Samut Sakhon arriving at a house to clear things out with teenagers in an alley behind Wat Puangmalai, Mueang District, Samut Songkhram Province, before using guns to shoot into the village alley 7 times and fleeing. It was later discovered that Ms. Patchanee, a 46-year-old disabled person with withered legs, who was just sitting and chatting with a neighbor, was accidentally killed in a tricycle, shocking those who heard the news.

This morning, Samut Songkhram City Police were able to arrest 6 out of 9 perpetrators. Most of them were aged 22-24, with the youngest being only 18. All of them were taken in for questioning at Samut Songkhram City Police Station and confessed to their involvement in the crime. However, the s
hooter left the gun with one of the teenagers before fleeing.

Mr. Chankan, 22 years old, one of the perpetrators, who was the opposing party, said that he had a problem with Mr. Ohm, 22 years old, who was in the house behind the temple, from looking at each other at the big temple bridge almost a month ago. He claimed that he had gone to clear things up at his house once, but it was not over yet because he still chatted to disturb and spoke badly about him to other people. Until they met again at a restaurant, Mr. Ohm chatted to challenge him to go clear things up at his house, so he brought many friends with him and brought weapons such as knives, iron, and sickles for self-defense.

But when I thought that everything was cleared up, with one of the adults in the house punishing Mr. Ohm by slapping him in the face three times, I walked back out. At that moment, another adult in Mr. Ohm’s group came with a gun, a senior named S. So he let them get in the car and shot at the other group. I was shocked because
I didn’t know in advance that there would be a shooting that would result in deaths.

While Mr. Adisorn, the man in the picture who was referred to as the man who brought out the gun, brought out the gun, which was a fake gun, to show the reporters. He also said that at first he walked out of the house and made a move to pull out the fake gun to scare the group of teenagers who were standing guard at the entrance of the alley before walking to Mr. Ohm in the house. He found that both parties had cleared things up and were about to walk out. This may have been the point where the misunderstanding occurred.

As the group of teenagers were leaving, it was at this moment that Ms. Patchanee or Nok happened to be moving her wheelchair into the alley and when the gunshots were fired, Ms. Patchanee became the unfortunate victim.

The daughter of the deceased said that she had just returned from work last night and when she heard from a neighbor that her mother had passed away, she immediately traveled to see her. Nor
mally, her father and mother live alone. She and her siblings take turns sending her money. After the incident, her father was very sad and decided that he would ordain as a monk for the rest of his life for his mother.

The latest news is that Mr. S, the shooter, has requested to surrender in Phetchaburi Province, and the police have taken Mr. S back to Samut Songkhram City Police Station to face legal action.
