A sinful thief stole the relics of the Lord Buddha from Khao Lom Muak, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province. He warned them to return them before their lives become worse than good.
Reporters reported that the relics of the Lord Buddha on the top of Khao Lom Muak, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, disappeared on August 17 after Wing 5 of the Royal Thai Air Force opened the top of the mountain for tourists to view its beauty during the recent long holiday. It turned out that the lid of the glass urn containing the relics was opened, and when viewed from eye level, the relics were not found inside. It is not known when the lid of the urn was opened. Reporters notified Wing 5 to have officers investigate. It is expected that they will coordinate with the local police to come and check for fingerprints soon to track down the culprit who stole the valuable amulets.
Mr. Patan Poolsawat, President of the Pen Phuttha Prachuap Khiri Khan Group, revealed that the relics of the Lord Buddha are sacred. Whoever pays homage to them
is like being near heaven, filled with gods and angels protecting and paying homage. If someone takes possession of them alone and does not have enough merit, it will cause harm. Therefore, he asked the person who took them to return them.
This peak of Khao Lom Muk is under the care of the 5th Air Force Base and is 902 feet above sea level. On the peak is a relic of the Lord Buddha and a replica of the left footprint of the Lord Buddha for tourists to pay homage to.
