“6 small parties” submit a letter to the “President of the House” requesting to observe the selection of the “new 1st Deputy Speaker of the House” and present a bouquet of smiling flowers as a representative of the happiness of the House’s work.

Six political parties, namely the Thai People’s Party, the Pracha Thai Party, the Thai Tham Party, the Suvarnabhumi Party, the Thai Chana Party, and the Prom Party, have jointly submitted a letter to the Speaker of the House of Representatives requesting to participate as observers in the election of the new First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, with Mr. Kamphi Dithakorn, the spokesman for the Speaker of the House of Representatives, acting as a representative to receive the letter.

Mrs. Krisanong Suwanwong, leader of the Suvarnabhumi Party, as a representative of the small parties who came to submit the letter, said that this action is a demonstration of the political parties’ joint intention to enhance transparency in the operations of the House o
f Representatives and to demonstrate their intention to play a role and participate in closely monitoring the democratic process. Political parties do not need to wait until the election to perform their duties. Creating a political party is not just about having money, but also about ideology. Therefore, she wants our people to participate and monitor the work in various processes.

The six political parties that came to present the letter also prepared bouquets made from smiling candies to give to the Speaker of the House of Representatives and the Speaker of the Senate, as well as reporters. The group representative said that it was a symbol of creativity, happiness in the work of the House of Representatives and to make the work in the House run smoothly and with a more relaxed atmosphere in a situation of intense politics. -317
