18-year-old youth and his gang arrested for stabbing to death in Nong Chok area

An 18-year-old teenager, along with two other 15-year-old boys, stabbed a man to death and seriously injured him in Soi Chueam Samphan 19 in the Nong Chok area. Police are urgently questioning him.

This morning, the news team went to the scene where a group of teenagers got into a fight and stabbed each other to death and injured several others in Soi Chueam Samphan 19, Chueam Samphan Road. When they arrived at the scene, the news team found traces of the incident, a long trail of blood dripping down the middle of the road leading into Soi Chueam Samphan 19.

From asking the villagers who live in the area, they said that last night at almost 9:00 p.m. they heard the sound of motorcycles driving around in the area and there was a loud noise. They did not dare to come out to look because they were afraid of danger. But their husband went out to look and found a red motorcycle parked at the entrance of the alley and a man lying in a pool of blood in the middle of the road. There was a group of teenagers who we
re believed to be the deceased’s friends, about 10 people, surrounding them and riding their motorcycles around in circles, looking for the perpetrator. As far as they know, the deceased got into a fight with a group of teenagers in the alley before being stabbed and riding his motorcycle out to the entrance of the alley, but he died in the middle of the road.

Consistent with the villagers in the middle of the alley who said that there were 2 groups of teenagers, the deceased’s group who came in 2 people and the perpetrators who came in 3 people riding motorcycles chasing each other and cursing at each other, heading towards the mouth of the alley. But when they reached the curve, it appeared that the deceased and the injured lost control of the motorcycle and fell, so the perpetrators attacked and used a knife to stab one of the 3 people. But all 3 rode the motorcycle to escape to the mouth of the alley. And later it was known that the person who was stabbed died in front of the alley, while the other 2 wer
e seriously injured.

The deceased and injured were local teenagers, while the two perpetrators were from other areas. The parents of the injured man, Thiraphon, 19, said that from what they had heard from their son, last night, their son went to stay with his friends at the pond at the end of the alley as usual before riding his motorcycle out to the mouth of the alley. The deceased and his son rode their own motorcycles. However, on their way to the middle of the alley, a group of teenagers riding three on one motorcycle chased them and shouted foul language. The deceased and the injured then rode their motorcycles after them because they were upset that they were suddenly being shouted at. However, when they reached the curve near the mouth of the alley, a sedan suddenly stopped and waited for them, and the three perpetrators riding on their motorcycles stopped and waited for them, then they attacked each other. One of the perpetrators used a knife to stab the deceased in the chest, causing the deceased to
ride his motorcycle away to the mouth of the alley before dying in the middle of the road.

The son was severely injured after being attacked. His face was swollen and there were wounds all over his body. He is currently being treated at the hospital. Doctors have initially assessed his condition and found that it is not life-threatening. However, he is currently being observed and undergoing a brain X-ray. He is currently speaking incoherently and is not very conscious.

The injured parents also said that their son graduated from a vocational school in Nong Chok area and worked as a stage light pole installer. In the past, he had never had any problems or fights with anyone. His son often liked to go play with his friends at the pond at the end of the alley regularly, but there was definitely no drug use. As for the deceased, he was quite close to his son. As far as he knew, he rented a room in front of a university in Nong Chok area because he was from another province and lived with his mother. However, it
is also unknown whether the deceased had any enemies.

It is believed that the three perpetrators were likely teenagers from outside the area, as teenagers in this area usually have fights over issues related to different areas and possibly educational institutions. Previously, I heard that a group of teenagers from outside the area wanted to take the lives of teenagers living in Soi Chueamsamphan 19, but I am not sure if they were involved in this incident or not.

He also admitted that he was worried about the case because he was afraid that the perpetrator would not be able to be arrested or that the perpetrator might be caught but released because the evidence was not strong enough. Therefore, he wanted to ask the police to expedite the case and ask them to speed up the investigation and review the CCTV footage in order to apprehend the perpetrator and bring them to justice as soon as possible.

At 10:00 a.m. this morning at San Lam Phak Chi, the police investigation division took a 15-year-old male suspe
ct who was involved in a fight that resulted in the death of another person last night into the police station for questioning. Later, a middle-aged woman rode a motorcycle in and brought documents and some belongings to the investigators. She admitted to the news team that the male suspect who was previously taken into custody was one of the three who attacked the deceased in Soi Chueam Samphan 19. After the police went to his house and asked if he was the perpetrator, the male confessed that he was an accomplice in the attack on the injured and deceased. However, the stabbing man turned himself in last night.

Another teenager, who is a friend of the perpetrators, bought food and water for his friend and stated that he was not there at the time of the incident, so he did not know what happened. He only knew that his friends and younger siblings had committed the crime. Everyone confessed. Today, as acquaintances, he only came to visit, give encouragement, and buy food for them. When reporters asked what the
condition of the suspects was, he admitted that everyone was stressed. However, when asked if he wanted to apologize to the deceased, he could not answer because he was not the perpetrator. However, he had to admit that the deceased had suffered a great loss. He did not want this kind of incident to happen and expressed his condolences to the deceased and injured groups.

The investigators are currently questioning the 18-year-old stabber about the circumstances of the case. As for the two 15-year-old boys who were involved in the incident, the police have not yet been able to question them and will have to wait for multidisciplinary officers to join in questioning them tomorrow.
