A case of a lone thief using a knife to threaten a gold store employee. and used a steel hammer to break the glass of a cabinet, stealing 18 baht of gold before riding a black and red motorcycle. Not wearing a license plate, he escaped unpunished. The incident occurred at a gold shop in a department store in Ratchaburi Province on December 16 last year.
Recently, police have arrested the culprit, Mr. Teerasak, aged 40 years, at a house in Bang Tanot Subdistrict, Photharam District, along with gold ornaments totaling 6 baht and 2 salung, and a motorcycle used to escape. The remaining gold is sold at gold shops in Bangkok. and disappeared while escaping
