The Royal Thai Navy is preparing to invite the Suphannahong Royal Barge, the Narai Song Suban Royal Barge of King Rama IX, and the Anantanakarat Royal Barge to tie buoys and compose a boat song to honor His Majesty the King on the occasion of the auspicious ceremony of His Majesty the King’s 60th Birthday Anniversary.

At the Royal Naval Council Building (opposite Tha Ratchaworadit Pier), Bang Khun Non District, Bangkok, people joined in watching the rehearsal of the boat song and rowing ceremony to celebrate the auspicious occasion of His Majesty the King’s birthday anniversary on July 28, 2024. Today, all sectors are preparing.

Today, 3 royal barges, namely the Suphannahong Royal Barge, the Narai Song Suban Royal Barge of King Rama IX, and the Anantanakarat Royal Barge, were invited from the dock to be anchored at the Ratchaworadit Pier. Then, personnel were transferred to the barges, rehearsed the boat song and rowing, first round at 3:00 p.m. for 25 minutes, and at 7:00 p.m., personnel were transferred
to the barges, rehearsed the boat song and rowing, and tested the colors, lights, and sounds, second round at 8:30 p.m.

On the occasion of the auspicious ceremony of His Majesty the King’s 6th cycle birthday anniversary on 28 July 2024, the Royal Thai Navy has received royal permission to invite the Suphannahong Royal Barge, the Narai Song Suban Royal Barge of King Rama IX, and the Anantanakarat Royal Barge from Dock No. 1, Thonburi Naval Dockyard, Royal Thai Navy Dockyard Department, to tie buoys, compose a boat song to honor His Majesty at Tha Ratchaworadit Pier, and organize an exhibition to honor His Majesty at the area of ??the Ratchakit Winitchai Throne Hall and the Royal Naval Council Building during 28 and 29 July 2024, 2 rounds per day, 30 minutes each, divided into 28 July at 15.00 and 20.30 hrs. and 29 July at 17.00 and 20.00 hrs.

The public can view the exhibition and activities at the Royal Throne Hall (next to Tha Ratchaworadit) and the Royal Naval Council Building, which is considered an impo
rtant cultural heritage of the nation and is considered the only one of its kind in the world. The public is invited to dress politely in yellow to join the event.

And for this special occasion only on July 28, the BMTA has arranged a shuttle service to take people to the event location at Tha Ratchaworadit Pier in 2 rounds as follows:

Round 1 at 1:00 PM on 2 routes: Victory Monument-Tha Ratchaworadit and Wongwian Yai-Tha Ratchaworadit routes, and pick up when the show ends.

Round 2 at 6:30 p.m., Victory Monument-Tha Ratchaworadit route and Wongwian Yai-Tha Ratchaworadit route, and pick up when the show ends.
