Surin, ‘Thaksin’ visited Surin, ordained 334 great monks as a royal merit for His Majesty the King on the occasion of his 6th cycle birthday, 72 years old, while ministers and Pheu Thai MPs attended the event in large numbers.

Former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra traveled to Surin Province to preside over the ordination of 334 monks to make merit on the occasion of His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Bodindradebayavarangkun’s 72nd birthday anniversary at Wat Suwannawichit in Prasat District, Surin Province. Upon his arrival, he was greeted by a group of red-shirts from Surin Province and the lower northeastern region who presented him with bouquets of flowers, roses, and an elephant hook to enhance his power and prestige, along with signs cheering for the Prime Minister in my heart, saying ‘Happy Birthday July 26, 2024’ and ‘I miss you, Isan Prime Minister’. Thaksin also signed an old book for the red-shirts who came to ask for his autograph.

During the ceremony, Mr. Prasert Chantarawongthong, Ministe
r of Digital Economy and Society, Mr. Kriang Kalptinan, Deputy Minister of Interior, sat beside Mr. Suthin Khlangsaeng, Minister of Defense, Ms. Phuangphet Chunladet, former Minister to the Prime Minister’s Office, and Pheu Thai MPs also attended the event.

Then, Mr. Thaksin expressed his gratitude, saying that he felt extremely delighted and grateful for His Majesty’s kindness and concern for the well-being of the people, as His Majesty has performed various royal duties according to His Majesty’s first royal command during the coronation ceremony, which stated that we will continue, preserve, and develop the country and rule the country with righteousness for the benefit of the people forever, for the happiness and peace and to be the inspiration of all Thai people forever.
