Shocking! A woman was washing dishes behind her house when a 4-meter long python bit her thigh and then strangled her whole body. She struggled for more than 2 hours before someone came to her aid.

The incident occurred on September 17 at approximately 10:00 p.m. Phra Samut Chedi Police Station in Samut Prakan Province received a report that a woman had asked for help after being strangled by a snake and injured in a rented house on Soi Suk Sawat 84, Tambon Pak Khlong Bang Pla Kot, Amphoe Phra Samut Chedi, Samut Prakan Province.

The scene of the incident was a single-story rental house with 5 rooms built next to each other. In the fourth room, the door was locked from the inside. Police officers and rescue workers helped break down the door to help. When they opened the door, they were shocked by what they saw at the back of the room. They found a woman being strangled by a giant python, more than 4 meters long and weighing no less than 20 kilograms, all over her body. They used whatever tools they could t
o try to remove the snake from the woman’s body. It took more than 30 minutes to remove the snake, but it slithered away into the forest behind the room. Rescue workers then gave it first aid and took it to a nearby hospital.

Ms. Arom, 64 years old, the injured person who looked weak, recounted the moment when she was strangled by the giant python. Before the incident, after she came back from work, she did her personal business in the room and ate. After that, at around 8:30 p.m., she went to the back of the room to wash the dishes. Behind the room was a reed forest and a pond. While she was standing washing the dishes, she felt something bite her thigh. At first, she thought it was a monitor lizard, but when she looked down, she saw that it was a large python. She quickly grabbed the snake’s head to pull it off, but the large snake strangled her until she fell and rolled on the floor. She tried to untie the snake for more than 2 hours, but to no avail. She tried to call her neighbors, but no one could hear
her. She thought that she would not survive and that she was definitely the snake’s food, so she tried to shout at the top of her lungs until someone walking by happened to hear her. She quickly called the police and rescue workers to come and help.
