Prime Minister Sathit Thaveesin spoke about the fire incident in Soi Pho on Yaowarat Road, asking what measures the government would take to compensate the victims. He said that he would wait to hear the report first, but he was not aware of the report at this time.
As for concerns about tourist areas but no security measures, the Prime Minister stated that this is not true because the lack of security is not something the government has done. The government has been taking care of this issue all along.
