Phumtham” reveals good news, July export figures expanded by 15.2%, the highest growth in the past 28 months, the result of the government’s work, along with revealing the trend of reinforcing confidence in “Paethongtarn”, shares rose for 7 consecutive days.
Deputy Prime Minister Phumtham Vejjayachai, acting as Prime Minister, revealed that Thailand’s export figures in July 2024 expanded by 15.2% compared to the same period of the previous year, with a value of 25,720.6 million dollars (938,285 million baht), the highest growth rate in 28 months since March 2022. This came from the export of agricultural and agro-industrial products, which expanded by 8.7%, which is considered the work that has begun to bear fruit from the work of the government of Mr. Settha Thavisin, former Prime Minister.
Mr. Phumtham said that another clear sign that the people have confidence and are waiting for the government’s work is that the Thai stock market has adjusted up for 7 consecutive days, totaling 7 days +74.97 since the
day the House of Representatives voted by a majority to approve Ms. Paethongtarn Shinawatra as Prime Minister (16 August – 26 August 2024). This is considered confidence and expectation of the people’s work.
