“Paethongtarn” divides work among 6 deputy prime ministers

“Prime Minister Paethongtarn” has divided the work among 6 deputy prime ministers. “Bhumtham” will oversee security, “Pichai” will oversee the economy and agriculture, “Suriya-Anutin-Pirapan” remain the same, while “Prasert” will oversee social work.

Reporters reported that today (5 September), Ms. Paethongtarn Shinawatra, the Prime Minister, has divided the work of the 6 Deputy Prime Ministers, with Mr. Phumtham Vejjayachai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, overseeing the ministry regarding security, including the Royal Thai Police and the Department of Special Investigation (DSI).

Mr. Suriya Juangroongruangkit, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport, oversees the Ministry of Transport, Ministry of Tourism and Sports, Ministry of Culture, and Ministry of Public Health.

While Mr. Pichai Chunhavajira, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, oversees the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Finance, Budget Bureau, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry
of Agriculture and Cooperatives.

Mr. Prasert Chantararuangthong, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Economy and Society, oversees social affairs, namely the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society, the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security, and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment.

Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul oversees the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, the Ministry of Labor and the Ministry of Education.

Mr. Phiraphan Salirathavipak oversees the Ministry of Energy, the Ministry of Justice, except for the Department of Special Investigation, the Ministry of Industry, and the Office of the Council of State.
