Nakhon Ratchasima, Making dreams come true from an employee to the owner of a rattan factory, using local wisdom to produce various types of woven products, generating hundreds of thousands of baht in income per month.

At Ban Rang Ka Yai, Village No. 8, Tambon Rang Ka Yai, Amphoe Phimai, Nakhon Ratchasima Province, villagers make a living from rattan weaving, generating income for their households. Mr. Adun, aged 64, a villager in the Ban Rang Ka Yai Rattan Weaving Group, revealed that he has continued to develop the local wisdom in the production of rattan products, which he received when he was an employee of a rattan factory. Later, he became the owner of a rattan factory himself, which has allowed him to continuously support himself and his family. The products he makes come in many forms, such as baskets, winnowing baskets, khantoke sets, rattan baskets, or large-scale products such as baby cradles, tables, chairs, and various types of furniture products that can be designed and made by himself.

Rattan
products here are unique, using black rattan as the main ingredient in production. Black rattan is a rare rattan and has a single trunk, not much branching to climb. In addition, there are also decorative products such as lamps and furniture made from rattan. Many customers come to buy and sell, with an average income of 600,000-700,000 baht per month.
