Korat shops confirm readiness to join digital wallet project

Nakhon Ratchasima, The Ministry of Commerce inspected the readiness of shops in Nakhon Ratchasima Province that will join the government’s digital wallet project, revealing that the shops are ready and want the project to happen quickly. Most recently, there are more than 910,000 shops and 140,000 Blue Flag shops ready to join. It is confident that this project will significantly stimulate the economy, help increase shop income and reduce the cost of living for the people, and will also attract ‘Blue Flag Commerce shops’ to provide postal services to support digital wallets.

Mr. Yanyong Phuangrat, advisor to the Deputy Prime Minister, revealed that he and Mr. Kritsada Tantheodtit, secretary to the Minister of Commerce, went to inspect the readiness of shops in Nakhon Ratchasima Province that will join the government’s digital wallet project on Suranarai Road in front of Nakhon Ratchasima Rajabhat University to support the major economic stimulus project that will take place at the end of this year. s confirmed that they are ready to join and want the project to happen soon, and are ready to move forward with the “Thailand Post @ Blue Flag Project”, a project to integrate the transportation potential of Thailand Post and Blue Flag shops nationwide to provide services to online sellers and the public under the government’s “reduce expenses”, “increase income” and “expand opportunities” policies.

However, the Department of Internal Trade has prepared over 910,000 shop operators and there are over 140,000 Blue Flag shops in every district in 878 districts nationwide, which can accommodate people who will come to spend in this project. As for the Department of Business Development, it has prepared data to connect with relevant agencies to be ready to enter the digital wallet project as much as possible.

From asking various shops and locals, most of them reflected that the economy is sluggish, sales are lower than before, and they believe that the digital wallet project, which will distribute 10,000 baht ac
cording to government policy, will be a project that helps stimulate the economy, increase income for shops, and reduce the cost of living for the people, create money circulation in the area, and make the country’s economy expand.
