Girl in shock after being threatened by son of policeman in neighboring area

Miscellaneous

Nonthaburi, A young woman and her family complained to ‘Kan Jom Phalang’ that a police officer’s son, a ‘Pol. Lt. Col.’, climbed onto the balcony of their house. There was a clear CCTV clip tying him up. The father did not stop him, did not apologize, and even threatened to shoot him. The Nonthaburi police chief has arranged for both parties to talk this afternoon.

Kan Jom Phalang took the female victim along with her family, which included children and women, to file a request for help with the Royal Thai Police Office after a man from her neighbor climbed onto her balcony, which shocked her and she went to file a report at Bang Bua Thong Police Station. Later, she found out that the man from her neighbor was a police officer with the rank of ‘Pol. Lt. Col.’, so she installed CCTV and saw the policeman’s son climb onto her balcony to the house again. She took the village committee to talk to them nicely, but they threatened to kill the entire family. There were 7 women and children in the house, so they ha
d to flee to live with relatives elsewhere. They didn’t dare go back in, so they came to ask ‘Kan Jom Phalang’ to help take her younger sibling back home.

Kan Chom Phalang said that today he brought the victim to ask for help, with the whole family coming because he has a neighbor who is a police officer and has been living there for a long time. At first, they spoke well and had no problems, but later they found that something was wrong, like someone climbing into the house at night. When they went to ask the neighbor, he started yelling and claimed that he had dignity even though he only asked. So he said he was sorry. Then they installed a CCTV camera and saw that the police officer’s son climbed into the house and was on the balcony trying to look around. He felt scared because there were only women and children in the house. He was worried about his safety. After that, he went back to tell the police officer that his son climbed into the house, but instead of apologizing, he got yelled at, even though t
he police officer should be able to rely on him. He understood that the police officer might be stressed from work and his son also has special needs. But he shouldn’t vent his anger on ignorant villagers. Today, he and his family want to go back home, but they can’t because they are afraid and feel unsafe because they have threatened to shoot through the glass.

However, at 2:00 p.m. at Nonthaburi City Police Station, the Nonthaburi Provincial Police Commander will invite the opposing party to discuss what the problem is and whether it can be stopped in order to find a solution.
