Chiang Mai, Found! The deputy director of a school in Lamphun province, after being missing for more than 10 days, was found dead in a private sedan. Parked under the Chiang Mai city bridge. Expected to die in at least 7 days.

Mae Ping Police Station officers, forensic police officers, and forensic doctors from Maharaj Nakorn Chiang Mai Hospital inspected a sedan in the parking lot under the elevated bridge in downtown Chiang Mai after receiving a report from members of the public who went to exercise that the car driven by Mr. Rusakhon, 43, deputy director of a school in Lamphun Province, had been missing since June 16, 2024. He told his wife that he was going to prepare documents at school. In the evening, both his wife and parents did not answer the phone or reply to messages on Line.

Pol. Col. Yanapol Phatthanachai, Superintendent of Mae Ping Police Station, where the body was found, said that from the investigation, it was confirmed that it was Mr. Ritsakon, the deputy director of the school, who had
disappeared along with the sedan. The surveillance camera recorded the deceased parking the car since June 17. Until today, a villager who went to exercise found the car that had been announced for missing persons and smelled a foul odor, so he notified the authorities to come and inspect. Inside the car, they found an unused charcoal stove and charcoal, sleeping pills, and a notebook with notes about belongings. It was found that the deceased had used a rope to strangle himself and attach it to the handrail above the rear seat door. It is estimated that he had been dead for at least 7 days. The authorities sent the body for a detailed autopsy to find the cause of death at Maharaj Nakorn Chiang Mai Hospital.

However, before this, Mr. Ritsakorn was stressed from problems within the organization, to the point of having to consult a doctor and receive medication to relieve stress. The cause was that he had signed a check to pay the school to a contract teacher of the school to withdraw 100,000 baht to buy thing
s, but it turned out that the money had already been withdrawn. The teacher disappeared with the money and did not buy anything, until an investigation had to be conducted into this matter, causing Mr. Ritsakorn to return home and become very stressed, to the point of having to see a doctor, until he disappeared for more than 10 days until he was found dead as mentioned.
