“Deputy Secretary to the Prime Minister” revealed that the Cabinet has approved the central budget, the reserve fund for emergency or necessary cases, amounting to 635 million baht to increase efficiency in solving the drug problem.

Mr. Suksit Srijomkhwan, Deputy Secretary-General to the Prime Minister for Political Affairs, revealed that the Cabinet approved the central budget, the reserve fund for emergency or necessary cases, amounting to 635 million baht to increase the efficiency of solving the drug problem by implementing the project to purchase a mobile X-ray tunnel system with 5 transport vehicles to be operated by the Narcotics Suppression Bureau, in line with the action plan to reduce the impact of drugs and the government’s policy to eliminate drugs from the country. The goal is to increase the technological capability to intercept drug smuggling into the country and destroy the drug trade structure at the border to reduce drug smuggling.
