‘Big Tao’ confirms he will attend the court hearing in the defamation case filed by ‘Big Joke’, confirms he did not flee as reported in the news.

Pol. Lt. Col. Charoonkiat Pankaew, deputy commander of the Central Investigation Bureau, spoke about the request to postpone the examination of the grounds of the lawsuit filed by Pol. Gen. Surachet Hakpal, deputy commissioner-general of the Royal Thai Police, against him for defamation by advertising, saying that he had confirmed with his lawyer that he would go to the court appointment next time and did not run away as reported in the news. He respected and believed in the court’s justice process to ensure fairness.

As for the previous request for a postponement, it was because on the scheduled date, his lawyer had to go and plead for another case and asked for more time to handle the case, so he requested a postponement as soon as he knew the scheduled date. He did not intend to waste the court’s time. In addition, Pol. Lt. Col. Charoonkiat also said, ‘It’s ok
ay to let him wait a bit. What’s the problem? Because in the past, the police had to wait their whole lives. They waited a little bit. Let’s help each other.’

When asked whether he would go to the court appointment himself or if he would only send a lawyer, Pol. Maj. Gen. Charoonkiat stated that he wanted to go himself, and that the next appointment would be in August. When asked if he did not go to the appointment because he was only good outside the court but did not dare to meet them in person, Pol. Maj. Gen. Charoonkiat smiled and replied that he did not want to insult anyone. The police work in many areas. We have gone through different lives and work in different ways. Therefore, there is no need to be afraid that we will go.
