Rayong, Arrested! Jealous ex-husband breaks down bedroom door, breaks in and slashes new husband to death in bed while he is cuddling his 4-month pregnant wife. After being arrested, ex-husband is still cheerful and shows no remorse, claiming he did it out of anger and drunkenness.

Back in the middle of the night on July 13, an incident occurred where an ex-husband, out of jealousy, broke down the bedroom door and slashed his new husband to death on the bed. The deceased, Mr. Thawatchai, 39 years old, was found lying in a pool of his own blood. There were multiple slash wounds on his body. Blood was also found splattered in several places inside the house. The perpetrator was Mr. Chatchai, 34 years old, Ms. Chamaiporn’s ex-husband. Yesterday, while the police were investigating the scene, Mr. Chatchai, the ex-husband, sent Ms. Chamaiporn a taunting message and asked if she was really dead before hanging up. The investigation team from Rayong City Police Station tracked him down and found out that he had fle
d to hide in a room in Mueang Rayong District. They were eventually able to arrest him and bring him in for questioning.

The suspect, Mr. Chatchai, cheerfully stated that he was not remorseful about the incident. He said that it was caused by anger and that he had previously argued and cursed at Mr. Thawatchai, his new husband, so he had been holding a grudge. Before committing the crime, he had been drinking alcohol. He then went to the house where the incident occurred. He saw that the lights in the house were off and dark, so he broke into the house and saw two knives lying in front of the door. He grabbed both knives and broke down the bedroom door, stormed in, and swung Mr. Thawatchai’s head, who was lying in bed with his four-month pregnant wife. He then dragged her out of the bedroom and swung him repeatedly until he collapsed in a pool of blood. After committing the crime, he rode a motorcycle to hide in a rented room until he was eventually apprehended by the investigation police of Rayong City Poli
ce Station.

While the mother of Mr. Thawatchai, the deceased, said that her son was a quiet person who did not often tell her about his problems because she was afraid that the family would be upset. As for the incident that happened, she could not accept it. It should not have been done to this extent. She wanted the perpetrator to be imprisoned for life.
