Bangkok, Bang Rak Police Station investigators issued an arrest warrant for a Chinese man suspected of killing a Chinese female TikTok star, and are preparing to issue a red notice.

In the case of the Metropolitan Police searching for Ms. Yan Ruimin, 38 years old, a Chinese national and TikTok star who has been missing since July 2, 2024 after a criminal claimed to have kidnapped her for ransom of 1 million yuan or approximately 5 million baht, the investigation team checked and found Ms. Yan’s phone signal for the last time on July 3 at 04.58. Ms. Yan’s bag was found burned and abandoned in Tambon Bang Phra, Mueang District, Chachoengsao, and the body of the Chinese woman was found. Mr. Ching Yan packed his things and left his room on Srinakarin Road, Bangkok, and flew to Hong Kong in the afternoon of the same day. The investigation team believes that Mr. Ching Yan is related to the TikTok star who mysteriously disappeared as reported in the news.

uperintendent of Bangrak Police Station, has ordered the investigation officers of Bangrak Police Station to collect evidence to request an arrest warrant from the Bangkok South Criminal Court No. 620/2567 to issue an arrest warrant for Mr. MA QINGYAN on charges of murder and secretly burying, hiding, moving or destroying a body or body parts to conceal the death or cause of death. After that, they will coordinate with the International Police to issue a Red Notice to track down and arrest the suspect and prosecute him according to the law.
