Lopburi Municipality, in collaboration with the Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation, has launched a new round of monkey trapping operations. The reserve monkey cages in the Lopburi Municipal Animal Nursery are ready to accommodate an additional 500 monkeys, in accordance with the plan to control the monkey population in the economic area of ??the old city of Lopburi Municipality.

Today, Lopburi Municipality officials installed a large monkey trap in the old residence of the Lopburi Municipality Waterworks Office, which is next to the Malai Rama Cinema, to capture a group of monkeys. In just a few hours, 38 monkeys were captured, and the operation is still ongoing. The goal for this round of operations is to capture 500 monkeys in 10 days.
