China and North Korea say A delegation of high-ranking officials from China will visit North Korea this week to participate in celebrations of a major North Korean holiday.



The Korean Central Intelligence Agency (KCNA) of North Korea Today’s report says The Chinese delegation led by Vice Premier Liu Guozhong will visit North Korea to take part in the celebrations marking the 75th anniversary of the country’s founding on September 9, and North Korea has previously said it would hold a military parade to mark the occasion. KCNA also reported that The visit came at the invitation of the ruling party and the North Korean government. While the Chinese Foreign Ministry said today that it confirmed Mr. Liu’s trip, saying that a Chinese delegation would travel to North Korea. starting from September 8 onwards.
